The Epstein School bids a fond farewell to 8th grade students, who are leaving to enter the high school chapter of their lives.

These students beautifully reflect and exhibit on a daily basis the academic excellence and caring Jewish community that is truly the signature of an Epstein School graduate.

Welcoming words were offered by Head of School Stan Beiner, as well as a humorous performance. Words of reflection and hope for the future were offered by Steven A. Rakitt, Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. D’var Torah and prayers were offered by Rabbi Sykes.

Epstein’s President of the 8th Grade Knesset, Gavri Schreiber spoke eloquently and gave his parting words to the class of 2009, as did class advisor Laura Bidlack. Middle School Principal Myrna Rubel then provided the class with advice and presented the class gift.

And of course, as with many milestone events that take place at Epstein, there was lots of singing and dancing! It was a meaningful, yet wonderfully entertaining display of student talent and poise.

Congratulations to The Epstein School Class of 2009!
